I am interested in your opinion of the AI?
Is it the right level of challenging?
Please try to keep on topic about the AI, I know there is still allot of wild speculation of what they can do. The amount of damage, tanking,... while important is not what I am looking to hear about?
Also if you know of any way to trick the AI into being stupid I would like to here about them. If you have found something and don't want to post here, I can arrange a Email that you can mail it to.
So what you think?
i think its brilliant last night we had a blast, PVE is now a challenge - much fun was had.
although the ai did seem just just play pass the parcel with our logistics ships(which were able to tank with spider tanking) while the gang killed them not always but 70% of the time the logistics ships were being fired upon, i think they may prioritise the logistics ships a bit to high, as when we were just captransfering eachother we were called primary by the sleepers most of the time, not always but we only lost 1 battleship all night to a freedom outpost complex or something somthing or other.
but all in all, it has been the best PVE experience of my eve career :D -----------------------------------------------

Originally by: Nova Fox With the sharp rise of spider tanking as being considered a common tactic to counter the immernse firepower of the sleepers I want to see sleepers 'break' fire, and basically they all pick thier own targets and try to wittle the entire group to hopefully confuse players and panic them as they try to evenly remote rep each other then refocus fire the guy that gets lagged behind on repairs.
Also would love to see a hunter variant that chases people after they warp off and possibly call in reinforcements if it meets a camp at the other location because real players warp too you know.
Aside from that NPCs sleepers are excellent, I wished more can be done to named pilots in missions to make them feel like they 'earned' thier names. Zor for example would nano everything. If this requires rebalancing named peopel ecounters to be more one on one Ill be happy for it. Officers as well need to be more dangerous.
Lastly allied npcs need thier own icon color, like green crosses and yellow for swing neutral hostiles.
yeah they do that already... last night i went in dual logged with our alliance fleet - i was with my main in a sacrilage and my alt in a guardian with a corpmate in a Basilisk, we both pretty much has to ditch our mains as keeping the right target repped was so busy retargeting/repping - if you didnt pay attention to who was taking the fire from the sleepers they started to die very fast -----------------------------------------------
